Hi everyone,
So as we all know I have just been to sunny
Cyprus with the family for a nice little break, I had a lovely time and will
have a post all about it at some point this week, but this post is going to be
all about the little treats I picked up at duty free and on the plane (we all
know that's why we love holidays).
Now, personally I don't really like duty free,
because it doesn't really make a difference and I feel like I'm being conned
into overspending, but once in a while, there is a deal that is really, really
worth it, I find, wherever you go in the world, you almost ALWAYS get a good
deal on an Elizabeth Arden 8 hour products at the airport or on the plane!
I got a trio which included;
- Eight Hour Skin Cream Protectant
- Eight Hour Cream Lip Protectant Stick SPF 15
- Eight Hour Cream Intensive Moisturising Hand Treatment
This worked out to be £25.00 which isn't so
bad, I didn't pay for this in Sterling so I'm not sure how much it came to in
Euro's.
This second product is another skin care
product, I have restrained myself from buying this easily over 100 times! I
don't know why, I've tried the product, I know I like it but I always stop
myself from buying it when I am about to pull my purse out. It is none other
than Egyptian Magic.
In all honesty, I could have found a better
deal in the UK but I brought it on a whim on the plane to use up the last of my
Euro's, in Sterling it would have been £20.00 for 59ml on the plane, so not
great considering for £29.00 at Boots you can get 118ml, however I finally
pulled my purse out and purchased it and I am glad I did because I do love this
product and now after about 5 years of avoiding buying it but wanting it, I
have it.
The next thing I brought was perfume, do I
need another perfume? No. Am I addicted to things that smell nice? Yes. Was it
a 2 for 1 deal and there was a for him and for her edition? Yes. Calvin Klein, CK
One RED Edition for Her, the newest scent to grace my perfume collection and I
got a matching bottle for the other half, Calvin Klein, CK One Red Edition for Him in total this amounted to 39.90
Euro. Now although I didn't need it (he did, his aftershave collection is
limited), it has been my favourite purchase as it is soooo different from the
perfumes I usually wear and both scents compliment each other well so you can
be #ultimaterelationshipgoals when you're next out together.
Finally and most importantly, I brought some
Lays Crisps in Salt and Vinegar, I brought 4 packets, 1 for my Mimi (grandma)
as these are her favourite crisps and 3 for me because I am a fatarse. We all
know Lays are the best and we all know I have already eaten all 3 of my packets
and am restraining myself from eating the ones I brought for Mimi.
And of course I brought some touristy shite
while I was at the airport too, Cyprus key rings, lighters ect, ect, but most
of the touristy gifts I did get were from different seafront shops across the
Island in Paphos, Aiya Napa and Larnaca, believe me you're not short of these
shops in Paphos!
Until next time my lovely readers...
